My Purpose for Your Walk

Do not judge your success based on man’s criteria. Did I not say the first shall be last and the last shall be first? You look back and forward to what was and what you hope will be and long for better days in the here and now, when I say I have you right where I want you and I order your steps as you submit to Me. You can run off and pursue this or that path, but when you follow Me there is a time of waiting and then there is a time of coming into My promises for you.

There is a season of preparation for greater responsibilities and there is a time to fully walk in these new responsibilities. Do not despise where you are right now, for I take great delight in you here. Delight in Me, My love. Delight not in the doing for Me, but in Me. The doing will take care of itself. For I work in you to will and do according to My good pleasure. You will know the way as you dwell with Me. Let Me dwell each moment in your day and night, not just in a time of worship. Practice My presence in each moment by realizing that I Am with you, and you will soon be aware of Me at all times and I will not feel far away.

You will soon be aware of My wisdom flowing through you in the daily tasks and in the tasks that are challenging before you. Your time on earth is not to accomplish this or that, to be a success in man’s eyes, but to come to know Me. The doing will take care of itself as you dwell in Me.

  • “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.” Matthew 19:29-30
  • “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:1-5
  • For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”  Philippians 2:13-16
