Bitterness comes from a selfish heart. When you focus on what you want instead of the fact that I have need of you, then my peace leaves and you are undone, confused, unstable, hopeless, and joyless. Come to Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
I can strengthen you to accomplish all the tasks before you. I will give you wisdom and knowledge of this age to know how to give an answer, to create, to operate even in this age. I will make you successful. I tell you again, do all that you do as unto Me. This is a simple premise, but a difficult lesson for many to learn and practice. When you commit your way to Me, I make your paths straight, I give you joy even in the mundane, I give you ability in the difficult.
When you are walking in My ways and doing all as unto Me, there is no fear of man. The gripping fear that comes to those who think they cannot measure up and must try harder to meet man’s expectations is relieved. I give you rest. I give you joy in the noble and ignoble tasks, for as you accomplish each you feel My pleasure.
