Wait, my love. Wait only upon Me. You are not waiting for man, you are not waiting for circumstances to change, you are not waiting for time to render change.You are waiting on Me.
Can I not change circumstances in a moment? Can I not bring forth something out of what wasn’t there? Wait upon Me for all you need, for the desires of your heart. Honor Me by waiting through your unmet desires. When you try to satisfy yourself you throw off waiting and demonstrate that your trust is not in Me. When I see your patient heart unmoved, but standing in peace before Me My heart is touched to move on your behalf even more.
Wait for Me to change hearts, wait for Me to open doors. Do not finagle around trying to change circumstances in the shadows – behind people’s backs. What men call wheeling and dealing is not how I expect My children, My beloveds, to behave. They accomplish and bring about change, but their bread is filled with maggots.
Wait – this is a beautiful behavior. This honors Me. This delights Me at your trust. For does not your trust speak loudest to Me when you wait? It calls for much faith not to run ahead and do it on your own out of time.
Did I not wait too through My 40 days of fasting when I was sorely tempted by the devil? When the appointed time had come I could eat, I could minister, I came into My kingdom in the proper way and time. My ministry was brought forth all because I did not move ahead of the Father’s timing. I patiently waited, endured through the struggle to do it on My own as the devil tried to persuade Me to do it. His words were vile/poison the Father’s words are life.
All that there is worth waiting for only comes through My timing. Learn this for it is important in My children’s walks with Me. Learn to desire My timing and ways more than the end result. The desire of your heart is brought about through relationship with Me, not just the attainment in itself, but it’s in how you get it.
In Me and My timing/way it is a tree of life and produces more abundance in the physical and spiritual, but if it’s just the object you want then there is no abundance with it – it is dead in and of itself. Would you not rather have something – anything – knowing that you received it in a way that pleases Me. In this way the desire cannot become an idol to you, it cannot draw your attention from Me in ways that are out of place, for you will have humbled yourself to receive it straight from My hands in My ways and did not try to satisfy yourself with it.
Learn this way of Mine – it is My very heart. It is how I operate. I do not measure your success or failure as to whether you obtained something or not, but whether you waited for Me to obtain it – the measure is in how you got it. Did you take it or receive it from Me? I am teaching you of My ways. This is a very foundational truth to learn. Much else builds upon this.

“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. “Blessed are all who wait for him!”
