What have I asked you to do? Then do this with all of your might. Evaluate not the worth of your life based on man’s opinions or measure of success, but on Mine. Did I ask you to go to the ends of the earth? Then do so willingly and with all of your might. Did I ask you to stand and support those around you? Then pour out with a generous heart.
My love, your calling from Me and letting Me flow through you as I desire is the main thing – not what you did or didn’t do in this life. When you stand before Me, when time is no more, will you know Me and will you have spent yourself on My call in your life? “Well done good and faithful servant” is what you desire to hear Me speak.
Let distractions not dissuade you from My purposes for you, but stand mightily in these. The weed does not ask, “Why am I not a tree?” Be all I’ve made you with a joyful heart – for I have made you in a very particular way. Be still before Me and be assured in what I’ve asked you to do and how I’ve created you to pour out. Let My Spirit have its way in you so that you can live and move and have your being in Me. What a sweet and satisfying life this will be fulfilling My desire for your life.
- “This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: ‘Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.’ So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Then the word of the Lord came to me. He said, ‘Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?’ declares the Lord. ‘Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel. If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.’” Jeremiah 18:1-10
- “Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ Does your work say, ‘The potter has no hands?’ Woe to the one who says to a father, ‘What have you begotten?’ or to a mother, ‘What have you brought to birth?’ This is what the Lord says – the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: ‘Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands? It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.’” Isaiah 45:9-12
- “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” Matthew 25:23
