When you are overwhelmed and discouragement settles over you as a covering, look to Me. Believe Me and what I’ve said about your path in My word and in your heart. Believe who I Am in these circumstances. I will give you wisdom above what you’ve experienced to understand and create. I will give you insight that will awe all others around you, for you represent Me.
These coverings and feelings of not being enough for the task at hand are only flaming arrows of the enemy. It is a tactic to discourage you from believing how I see you is true. You begin to doubt your talents I’ve bestowed, you begin to doubt your gifts, you begin to bring up memories of the past when you have failed and believe you are still in that place. Oh My love, you are not. I have brought you so much further on with Me than you can fathom. These are lessons from the past but not who you are. You are My beloved, I will not let you fail.
Look to Me for encouragement, for a breath of inspiration, for creativity, for wisdom, for even the ability to concentrate and let all other distractions go. Praise Me even in the midst of your work and how pleasurable this will be, it will be a sweet and savory offering that I breathe in and enjoy the fragrance thereof. Oh My love, walk with Me in the daily tasks and in the great feats for I Am with you.
Many are the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. But you say in your heart, “I see no evidence of this great way, I do not see where it can come forth for I’ve hoped against hope for so long and I do not see the possibility of it.” Look up, from whence cometh your help? Your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and earth.
I will answer all of your questions with I Am. As you see My hand move upon your life, in awe you will be at the works of My hands, humbled you will be at the details of which I take notice, how astounded you will be at the blessings I pour forth from directions you look toward and even those you do not. Walk lightly, My love, not under a heavy burden. Skip along, rejoice, enjoy each step with Me. Be ransacked no longer by the enemy, but stand upon the place I’ve positioned you at such a time as this.
Psalm 121:1-8
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Psalm 124:1-8
“If the Lord had not been on our side – let Israel say – if the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird from the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
