The Power of Worship

You see that it is a new day, a new beginning, a new season. I gently lead you along, but this does not mean you will be weak. I will strengthen you for every good work. I move upon you to reveal more of Myself to you. I move upon you to give you power over the enemy and every stronghold you come up against. I will make you mighty, I will make you great.

I bring forth the voices of praise to Me, let this flow forth from you for it is a sound that reaches straight to My throne. It cuts through every hindrance, melts hearts like wax, and lays waste the enemy. This sound is beauty, it is the sound of My spirit crying out to the Father on behalf of the soul that words cannot express. It is pure praise, worship, and beseechment all together.

The cry is one of help, but also I know you are God and all is well. “Deliver Me from My enemies oh Lord, for they are many. They encampeth about me.” This sound the enemy cannot bare. Do not focus on this, focus on how pleasing this sound is to My ears, it penetrates even My heart.

This is worship in spirit and in truth, it is even the sound of a battle cry. For the sound is mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. At times you do not know what you ought to pray, but My Spirit intercedes on your behalf with utterances and groans that words cannot express. Let forth this Sound of the Saints. This Sound of My Beloved.

I would teach you about the power of worship. Did I not send out worshippers ahead of My armies and defeat the enemies. At times the enemies would flee, at other times the enemies would turn on each other and My people had no need to even fight. But at all times I make My people victorious who trust in Me, who go My way, who are in step with Me.

  • After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: ‘Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.’ As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another. When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped.”  II Chronicles 20:21-24
