Prayer: Lord, I will speak, write, and believe Your truths even when I don’t yet see full evidence in my life of Your promises fulfilled. I will not limit what You can do based on what I have seen you do already. “I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word” (Psalm 119:15-16). Lord, teach me what Your word says about walking with You in this life and all You desire me to experience in Thee without any preconceived ideas.
Remind me to not let my experiences from the past determine my faith for the future. Let me run the path You have laid out with all strength and authority as I abide in Thee. You are the author and finisher of my faith. Expand my mind to believe for all You can do through me. When You are for me who can be against me. You are the Potter, I am the clay, into Your hands I commit our spirit, soul, and body. Make me to beautify You, Lord Jesus, so that the world may see Your glorious light and tender compassion, for Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness. Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and all that is within me praise His name! Bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits – He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. In Jesus Name
Stop trying to figure everything out and just believe. How long you dwell in discouragement, wondering if You know Me, hear Me, have it right. How much effort you spend on trying to reason out My ways and in looking back to determine if you missed Me. Just believe, My love. I tell you there is a timing factor involved in all of My words. Do not be discouraged at the delay to My promises, for I orchestrate where you cannot see.
Trust My love for you, trust My tender care of you. When things seem hard, do not balk at the circumstance, but learn what I have need of you to learn and be transformed more into My image. Do not worry about the world conditions, for I have overcome the world. Be My light and see what I will do through you. Do not let your heart be discouraged, do not faint or grow weary. When you feel these sensations it is because your eyes are off of Me and you are sinking in the ocean of despair. Of course, all hope of overcoming and making the hard places smooth and desperate circumstances right is impossible with man, but possible in Me. I make right that which is wrong, I straighten that which is crooked, I bring truth and shed My light on that which is corrupt.
Do not judge or seek to fix things in your own strength, just let Me flow through you in your daily interactions. If I were to put you before the masses, let My light shine and My love flow, speak My words of hope and blessing and peace. I desire that all men would believe on Me so that I may change them. If I were to keep you behind closed doors where the only avenue of outreach were through those who came into your home or cell or small dwelling place, could I not change the world with one word spoken to one of these from Me.
Keep your heart light and let Me work it all out. Let them smell Me on you, for your light is to be such a delight to others that My nature and character permeate every cell of your body. Dwell in Me so I can operate through you. Do not seek to go higher when I’ve brought you low, wait for Me for I will exalt in My time. I will bring those in your path that I need you to show My love. This may be hard, it may look messy, but know I am not alarmed. I met man in the common ways right at the point of his need, so too I send you, My love, My called, My child, My ambassador.
Let My rivers of living water flow from you. What stops this flow? Your unbelief, your focus on yourself, your eyes cast down at the impossibility of the circumstance. Look only to Me, do not heed men’s negative counsel, just humble yourself before Me and walk on with Me. Let Me send forth My power through you at the words you speak in season, at the hands you lay on those who are sick or oppressed and they will recover and be set free.
Stay so close to Me in prayer, in meditating on Me throughout your day and night, in turning from that which is not pleasing to Me. I do not judge you for your weaknesses, but offer them to Me and watch My power be made perfect as I strengthen you to stand in a higher place free of the hindrances of your flesh. You will look back and wonder how such could have captured your heart, yet will you also look with compassion on those suffering from the same and show them what I have done in you.
You overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Share what I have done, give them hope, raise up those who are cast down. Stand in My strength with your head held high and declare, “The Lord is He who helps Me, I will not be afraid. It is God who sees My way, I will not be discouraged. He is the strength of My heart and My portion forever.”
