His Glory

Prayer to the Lord: The number of pages written in my journal does not matter. The number of posts on a website means nothing, if You are not in it. One word from You I can thrive on. One breath breathed into me and I can live. You overwhelm with your overflowing abundance, Oh Lord. You care tenderly for me, You desire me to know Thee. How ravished I am with Your love. All the great works I may do, all the efforts I make mean nothing if You are not prompting and leading by Your Holy Spirit. I live and move and have my being in Thee. I cannot celebrate accolades of my work, for anything good I’ve created is Your inspiration in Me. I offer My whole body, soul, and spirit to Thee, take all of Me and give me all of You. I open wide my mouth that You may fill it. You satisfy the hungry and to the thirsty You give drink. You refresh and heal, and make alive. How precious are your thoughts to me, Oh love how vast is the sum of them.

Beloved, as you come to Me I give you understanding and insight for what you need. I desire to manifest My ways more and more. You experienced just a glimpse of My glory in times past. Beloved, I have much more to show thee. As you come before Me, these manifestations will seem natural to you, for I desire you to walk in them as easily as you walk in the sunshine, as joyous part of life.

Psalm 81:1-16

“Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob! Begin the music, strike the timbrel, play the melodious harp and lyre. Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is full, on the day of our festival;this is a decree for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob. When God went out against Egypt, he established it as a statute for Joseph. I heard an unknown voice say: ‘I removed the burden from their shoulders; their hands were set free from the basket. In your distress you called and I rescued you, I answered you out of a thundercloud; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Hear me, my people, and I will warn you – if you would only listen to me, Israel! You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not worship any god other than me. I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.’ But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices. ‘If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways, how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes! Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever. But you would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.'”

Acts 17:24-28

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.'”
