In Restlessness, Praise

When you cannot put your finger on this or that to explain your restlessness is it not Me calling you to come and sit with Me and be in My presence. Do I not change you in My presence? Do I not impart to you in My presence? Come to Me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.  I restore your soul. Did I not equip you with My gifts of the spirit, and yet why stand ye here wondering what is next? Worrying that all is not well.

Put your hope in Me, for you will yet praise Me, for I Am your savior and your God. I created the heavens and the earth and so too can I fulfill My word to you, for My word will not return to Me void. Praise Me even in the unseen, for I Am surely on your side. I make ways for those who are called by My name.

Do not doubt, do not fear, do not wonder how, just know I Am God and I will make your way. Even in the current situations where all seems unchanged, cannot I change even in a moment? Praise Me, thank Me, focus on Me and not how all looks around. Walk higher with Me even in sight of nothing and I will show you everything.

  • “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Psalm 42:5
  • “We have heard it with our ears, O God; our ancestors have told us what you did in their days, in days long ago. With your hand you drove out the nations and planted our ancestors; you crushed the peoples and made our ancestors flourish. It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them. You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob. Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes. I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever.” Psalm 44:1-8
