Transitions, life changes, unknown future, surrounding catastrophes, bad news from a far off land and near – oh Lord how do I live?
Follow Me. In these two words resides all the power and authority you will need to overcome, shed light, change circumstances, and even transform the environment you encounter daily from chaos to peace – from darkness to light – from unknowing to resting secure. Beloved I have finished the work of salvation and even the healing of your body in the land of the living.
My blessings I freely give – just follow Me. Worry not about change or what will come, just rest in Me, for I Am. You do not yet know me, even as you are also known. You have not experienced the depths of My riches, so you look to and fro for earthly satisfactions. I tell you the truth, there are none that can satisfy you fully and eternally. I created you to be satisfied only with Me.
Follow Me with steps that are sure, with a heart overflowing with joy, with a peace that passes your understanding and reasoning. Follow Me, My love, take no thought of yourself and come to know Me until you behold Me face to face. I am the desire of your heart. All else will be settled, just follow Me.
“As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’ When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you,’ and their sight was restored…”
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.”
“Jesus straightened up and asked her, ‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?’ ‘No man, Lord,’ she said. ‘Then neither do I condemn you,’ Jesus declared. ‘Go now and leave your life of sin.’ When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”
“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them? For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
