For how long has your path been that you have asked in your heart, “Will it always be like this? How long, Oh Lord, how long?” My answer, beloved, is “In Me.” Move deeper into Me and your circumstances will not affect you, but you will have an effect upon them. When you are one with Me the rivers of living water, My Holy Spirit, flows through you so powerfully that it cuts through bars of iron and removes all the road blocks in your way. This river of My presence demolishes every stronghold, heals every sickness, fills every empty place and makes it fruitful. It waters the dry and barren land and gives refreshment to the hungry and thirsty. My presence gives life to the dead. No longer will the sick be desolate, but fruitful and raising up others who have suffered afflictions of the body and mind. In Me is this answer found.
How long? How long until you let go all that you hold to, cling to in your heart and release to Me every part of your life to Me offered freely. How long until I can move powerfully through you and pour out onto all those who cry out to Me? In Me, the timing will not matter, the look of circumstance will not matter, the hard personalities will not matter for all will be made smooth before you for above the circumstance you walk in Me. You do not respond from your flesh, but from the deep place in Me. When others expect retaliation or harsh words from you, out of your mouth and from your heart will come forth the fruits of the Spirit.
You will see the world from a different perspective than you have before. In the past you have seen it as challenges to overcome to get to a place of rest and safety, free from difficulty. You reasoned that if no hard circumstance existed about you then you had succeeded and finally obtained the desired dwelling place – the promised land. Oh, there is still a campaign of resistance in the promised land to kick you out, to enslave you, to make you operate in less than what I have given you as an inheritance in Me. It is not the place of overcoming and being done with difficulty and battles in the spirit, but in finding your footing in Me and daily fighting in My way with spiritual weapons that demolish every high thing set against you and knowledge of Christ. It’s not absence of the battle that you are to dwell, but in the midst of the battle while resting in Me. Let Me show you how I provide, how I heal, how I make you great even in the midst of the challenge. Here you overcome. Here you operate in My peace. Here you fellowship with Me. Here you enjoy My blessings.
See the circumstance not as a one-time conquering and then you’re done, for there will be circumstance after circumstance in your life when this one is done. Learn here to overcome in Me. Let Me enlarge your tent stakes even right where you are. Bear fruit where I have you and let Me, in My timing take you on to your next steps, next position where I call you to stand. It is I who sustain you and renew your youth as the eagle’s, it is I who enable you. Do not make your own way, but follow faithfully and with all of your heart exactly what I’ve given you to do. In this way of walking you will be as tempered steel made stronger by each battle you overcome in Me.
Soon you will enjoy the taste of the battle and savor the delights of My presence more than living in no resistance. You will have your confidence in Me so firmly established that the look of circumstance will not move you but excite you to see what I desire to do in this situation or in that. You will begin to see as an overcomer, not a victim. Your battle is not with flesh and blood against principalities and powers, with rulers of darkness in this world, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly realms. Man is not your enemy. Man’s heart I desire, I long for, and through you I love them and display My glory. So no longer ask how long or wonder if life will always be as you see now, My love ask, “What’s next in Thee?” Come My love, walk with Me and I will shew you great and mighty things you know not of, but your heart longs to behold.
Ephesians 6:10-17
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
