What is Possible

Proclaim confidently the answer to the question, “What is possible?” …”What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27).

Ask the ant was is possible. He does not flinch, but continues to work and build his home grain of dirt by grain of dirt. Let us not be weary in well doing. Things may not turn out how we planned or when we planned, but ours is to continue to work, and do, and be faithful in what He has given us to do. The possible may not come easily, and it may be a long, hard, working-in-a-cave haul to get to the goal. Just keep at it!

The Lord is so awesome in wisdom that he will not let one effort of what we do fall to the ground. Nothing we do goes unnoticed by Him. We can look back over our lives and see how He used even what was hard, heartbreaking, and seemingly endless delays to make us stronger, sharper, and over-comers.

Even if we don’t see the goal obtained in our lifetimes, let us be faithful even unto our last breath – working with all our might in what God would have us do. Let us take each breath – even to our last – working by faith as unto Him and believing for what He says is possible, even if the next moment we find ourselves standing in His very Presence – so we may hear those most beautiful words that make a lifetime of work purposeful: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

We serve a God who has done the impossible with all things. Look at the creation of the universe, forming us in His image, rescuing us from the fall of man by sending Jesus to take upon himself our penalty so we would not be separated from our Creator, but by believing on Him can live eternity with God Almighty. In our walk with Him on earth, He dwells with us with His Holy Spirit, He rescues us from ourselves, He delivers us from our enemies, He even takes us on to be in his Glorious and Holy Presence when we’ve finished our race. There is no downside. He is our eternal great reward!

All things are possible through Him who gives us strength, breath, life. Oh Heavenly Father, glory to You. May we be daily thankful for your goodness, tender mercies, and unfailing love.

Let us not lose hope even if the circumstance looks hopeless. Rather, let us continue to create, build, and honor God in everything we do and say and see what way He will make. Even when things are hard, even if we only have the strength and faith to whisper it, say to yourself, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 ESV)
