What I Am About to Do

Beloved, what I am about to do, I do quickly. This I advised the betrayer, when before I spoke this it was in My acceptance of the way I needed to trod, but now I speak these words to you in delight and with hope. With you I speak it as an invitation to paths of adventure we will skip along together, paths that grow brighter and brighter until the full light of day.

My love, how you have stood and stood and stood until I would move you, now I say what could not support you before will support you now. You are now cleansed from pride and self-promotion and would prefer others above yourself. How you have laid down your life and your own ambitions to build others up.

Not one effort over the last years has gone unnoticed by Me. Your willingness to create and propose and continue to offer even when it felt you were casting your pearls to swine will not go unrewarded. I speak this over you and it cannot be undone.

Proverbs 4:18-19

“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.”

John 13:26-34

“Jesus answered, ‘It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.’ Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, ‘What you are about to do, do quickly.’But no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him. Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the festival, or to give something to the poor. As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night. When he was gone, Jesus said, ‘Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once. My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come. A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.'”
