Walk on the Water with Me

Walk on the water with me, speak to the winds and waves and they will obey, bring calm where there was fear and chaos. Beloved, I will lead you into places that are tender to My heart, I desire greatly that pace be still be spoken over areas of unrest. Places that have long been home to despair and strain, a place that drains My beloveds of their hope.

How noble a use I have for you to speak peace and calm in the chaos, to apply My wisdom and knowledge to all these situations so that My people, and those who will be called by My name may know rest. That these may know My ways and see them in operation here on earth.

My vessel, to be unmoved by the look of things is My desired place for you. Even now you sense change as you face situations where before you would be moved. This is walking above the circumstance. Here you look to Me even as you stay connected with Me and I give you the answers, I give you My perspective.

When My peace and methods are applied then there is purpose. You will walk on the water with Me. How great will be the outcome. Beloved, this is what you were made for to live in this place of exuberant trust in Me. Your purpose is your delight in Me.

  • Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.  After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone,  and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.  When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.  But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”  Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”  And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.  Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”   Matthew 14:22-33
