Unmoved By Man

Fear not man, but fear Me. Am I not your very great reward? Am I not the one who promotes and puts down. I can change men’s hearts, do not fear their clamorings, do not heed their jeers.  Did not My men of old have enemies and have to trust Me to deliver? I am teaching you to stand in the face of opposition.

Stand in the face of insult. Stand in the face of lies and misunderstandings. Did I not do the same? I was silent before My accusers. Do not fear sharing in My sufferings, but count it all joy.  I am refining you even more to be unmoved by man.

Philippians 3:9-10

“And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.”

Isaiah 53:7-10

“He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”
