My beloved, I do not condemn you for your slowness to believe Me. My words to you are life and I know the time it will take for you to grasp the fullness of My ways and will. I say again, you are to be light in the darkness, so do not fret when you see darkness. You are to display My light moment by moment – in your thoughts, your deeds, and your reactions.
You are to speak over a situation and not reinforce the evil by complaining and expressing your discouragement over it, but to speak My truth over it, My will for it, shed light and give hope. You find your hope in Me, not in how the circumstance looks. Beloved, learn this lesson for I have higher places to take you, this is just a small step. Once you understand your place in Me, then I can bring you into much and operate through you on the heights.
The look of circumstances will not move you, fear of man will not move you, not meeting man’s ever changing expectations will not move you, only I will move you. Strong, settled, secure in Me is your place and position that I’ve created you to stand in, all else seems unfitting and empty. Do not give up, do not shrink back, hear My words to you and believe ye Me.
- “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19
- “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
- “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” Hebrews 12:1-3
