Lesson of Worship

Why do you busy yourself and not take time to come meet with Me? Do you fear condemnation, do you fear confusion, do you fear stilling and quieting your soul before me? Come let Me soften your hard countenance, let Me bless you. With all I desire to give you in My presence and pour out from My hand. What if this was the one thing, the one task, the one priority in your life you were not to neglect, coming to Me sitting before Me and receiving. Oh, what would change in your life.

I have missed the sound of your praise. Pour out to Me, let your praise be carried high like incense as I embrace it and dance to the rhythm of your sound intermingling with Mine.  Flow, flow, flow with Me. Let your worship, poured out to Me overtake your life. Hold nothing back, neither will I. I will rush into every area of your life and overtake you. I’ve waited on you, My love, to grasp this truth of worship.

Psalm 95:1-11

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice, ‘Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness, where your ancestors tested me and they tried me, though they had seen what I did.’ For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.’ So I declared on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter my rest.'”

John 4:23-24

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Matthew 4:10

“Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'”

Exoducs15:23-25

“When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.) So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, ‘What are we to drink?’ Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.”
