Led by God

In our world of expected immediacy waiting can often be frowned upon, especially if we have the ability and means to get things done. We can take for granted the privilege of being led by the Almighty in the great and small areas of our lives. Some may even ask, “Does God want to lead me?” Oh yes, what a delight to Him those who are guided by His promptings.

I make you fruitful and abundant where I lead you to dwell. I make unexpected ways that you need not contrive of your own making. Only be faithful and let Me create through you right where I’ve placed you. There are seasons of moving and there are seasons of staying planted.

My love, I am the season changer, seek not to change in your own strength or limited understanding of the times and circumstances. Dear one, you say in your heart, “But God, I want adventure!” Oh my love, I’ve made you this way. Adventure with Me in the staying or the plucking up your roots and going to a land I will show you. Be content in both and let Me lead.

My way is not confusing, it is not burdensome, it is exhilarating, it is a way that fills your heart with peace, and often not logical in man’s limited view of things. When I lead I provide. I will teach you to follow Me. I will teach you so skillful at discerning My will that I can guide you with My eye. This discernment comes from time spent with Me, our oneness produces a confident assurance of My will.

Psalm 82:8-11

“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”
