Do not be uneasy at the look of the sea of circumstances that surrounds you. Did I not demonstrate how to walk on the waves and even speak to them and say peace be still. I see your heart and I can trust that you will not run ahead or lag behind, but speak a word in season to calm the seas.
I am above the waves, so even if the water appears more tumultuous, be not afraid for I will not let you sink as long as your eyes are upon Me. Rejoice, My love, for I am teaching you to walk on the heights. Do not think you have failed me, for you are even out in the water trying to learn to walk with me and you did not stay safely on the dry shore.
You desire to see Me move on your behalf and on behalf of others. You desire to see many might works, and many I will accomplish through you. Draw close to me and speak My words as I give them. I use you to the most effect as you are obedient to Me and even are perceptive of my gentle voice and leading. You operate in kingdom principles and I give the supply.
- The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. Matthew 8:25-26
- When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” Matthew 14:26-33
