I Melt in Your Peace

Your presence woos me. As I busy myself with tasks of the day a still small voice calls from deep unto deep and bid me come meet with Thee. Oh Beloved lover of my soul, you have the words of life, wither shall I go, where else can I find satisfaction and purpose, for you have the words of life. Flow through me blessed Holy Spirit as You desire. Pour through the gifts You have given me. Make me unafraid to reveal them before mankind as You lead, for I dare not operate in my flesh for there is no life to that end, but fruit is born in the rush of Your presence.

Oh, how I love Thee. My spirit, soul, and body cry out to Thee. At times I even doubt My desire for you, but when all is removed and Your presence surrounds me my heart is revealed. You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. You uncover even the hidden places within, not condemn but to expose and clean up. You cover Me with your blood and make me whole in every way. By your lashes I am healed. By your death and resurrection I am made alive for you bore my punishment and took the justice meted out to me for sin. It is You who saw my worth and laid down your life that I might never be separated from you, that I might know You and be known by You, that I might never be separated from you for all eternity.

I worship You with all of my being. I give you my life. I give you my desires. I give you my imagination. I give you every day marked out to me on this earth while I dwell in time. It is you who know My way and You order my steps. I release even the efforts I’ve made in vain to cut out my own way, I turn it all to You. I worship you with groans that words cannot express. More of You and less of Me. All of You and none of me. My delight, my souls longing, Jesus, My Beloved.

Hebrews 12: 24-29

“And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire.”
