He Orders My Steps

The Lord will call some to a foreign land to bring forth His Kingdom on earth through various forms of mission work. That does not mean the rest of us are left home without purpose. For all those called by His name, at home or abroad, in our everyday lives – in the humble roads and even the exalted paths – are fields ripe for harvest. Everywhere we go and make our lives are hungry souls longing for Him. Think not little of your area of influence right where you are, for the Lord can pour out abundantly in a foreign land or in a familiar territory. Let us not despise the location, but be busy about His purpose wherever He may lead.

I make known those in your path who have a heart that cries out to Me. Lift up, lift up, I have called you to lift up those who are bowed low with care, show them My light. I speak through You, My presence on you calms them. Let Me be so real to them through your words, actions, and even what you create that they are awed at My fingerprint in their lives through the works of your hands and the details through which I appear.

Fear not, for I will go with you. In our quiet, set apart times I will meet and refresh you in new ways. Oh, this place where I desire to pour through you onto so many. Oh, the lives I long to enrich and bring together at such a time as this. In awe will they sit where you encounter them, for there I will have found them as they find Me. I will meet with them, in unlikely places will men and women come to know Me, and I will manifest My presence and glory. In the common ways, in the cubicles, in the offices, in the conference rooms, on the stage, along the trails I will show up and make whole. I will mend broken lives.

Beloved, this will be your mission field. I will give you supernatural ability to create and consider all perspectives, for this work will come easy to you, while your purpose will be to pour into lives. I bring you here to impart My presence, lift up, speak life, flow in Me. This is the next step in the journey. Your steps are very sure.

Matthew 9:35-38

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'”
