“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” Psalm 143:8-10
These are the words that come to mind this day. Oh Lord, You alone know the path before me. You are the lifter of my head, You are my shield, you have called me and walk with Me. You work where I cannot see. You are the author and perfecter of my faith. All praise to Thee, Most High God.
When we walk through a season where we feel attacked on every side, doubt our own worth, and our strength fails, cry out to Him who gives us strength. When we are unable to sleep, when we get up out of bed and go about our daily tasks because it’s the right thing to do, look to Him who was acquainted with much grief. Jesus Christ, Beloved. Do not give up, no matter how bitter life may seem, He can do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or imagine. Jesus said, “Come unto Me all you who are weary and I will give you rest. My yoke is easy, my burden is light.” Forgive those who persecute you, if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all.
What we go through is temporary and in time, but we have eternity with Him who created us. Whether the mysteries of the issues become clear here or in eternity, let us lay all concerns before Him. This is not easy, but necessary. Be anxious for nothing, but in all things give thanks. Have hope, beloveds. The Lord can change a circumstance in an instant. He can make a way unseen. Just know, He sees you. Give thanks for His unfailing love and mighty arm by faith. Take heart, and wait for the Lord.
Psalm 143: 1-12
“Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief. Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you. The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in the darkness like those long dead. So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed. I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land. Answer me quickly, Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go down to the pit. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go,for to you I entrust my life.
Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.”
